FeelingFlexi (feelingflexi.com) is guest-first. You do not have to create an account, and the app does not ask you to. This page describes how the product handles information.
What stays on this device
Display name, interests, likes, saves, passes, filters, and session setup are stored in this browser’s localStorage. A few tab-only values (for example a pending place link) use sessionStorage. FeelingFlexi does not upload that profile to a FeelingFlexi account server — there isn’t one.
Clear data on this device, from Profile → Advanced, removes those FeelingFlexi keys from this browser. Export JSON is an optional file you keep yourself. It is not an account.
What can leave the device
Google Places (optional). The built-in deck does not need a Google key. If live places are turned on, search goes through FeelingFlexi’s same-origin proxy to Google Places API (New). Google then receives the search request (area, categories, and related request data) under Google’s privacy policy. The API key stays on the server. It is not shipped inside the app bundle when production is configured as documented.
Photos. Place photos may load from third-party hosts (Google, or Unsplash in the demo catalog) when you are online. Those hosts see a normal image request from your browser.
Events. If you open Events, FeelingFlexi may ask ticket partners (Ticketmaster, Quicket, and Platinumlist) for listings near the area you set. Opening a ticket leaves this site for that partner. FeelingFlexi does not sell tickets.
Hosting. The site may be served by Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes connection data (such as IP address) as the host. That is separate from the likes stored in localStorage.
Share / invite. If you share a place or an invite, the text goes through the share sheet or clipboard you choose. Friends do not receive your likes. They get their own guest session on their device.
Suggestions. If you send a suggestion from Profile, the message and any optional name or contact you type are emailed to feedback@feelingflexi.com. That is not an account.
Advertising
The website uses Google AdSense. Ads can appear in the swipe deck, on Likes, and as a rewarded break when you choose to watch an ad for more swipes. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure those ads. See Google’s privacy policy, how Google uses information from sites that use its services, and Google ad settings.
The iOS app shows Google AdMob ads in those same kinds of spots. A browser on feelingflexi.com does not show the AdMob card.
Cookies
Advertising cookies come from Google when an ad is requested.
FeelingFlexi also sets an HttpOnly cookie named ff_guest for the daily swipe limit. It is not an account. Page scripts cannot read it. Clearing data on this device does not remove that cookie, so the swipe limit can remain. It is separate from advertising cookies.
Analytics
The analytics hook is off by default. When it is enabled for a build, it logs events to the browser console only. This product does not send them to a third-party analytics network.
