Events in Istanbul this week

Bazaars, ferries, food, music and the two shores. The cards below are an example week, not a live listing.

Istanbul’s calendar is a mix of religious seasons, occasional big exhibitions and ordinary good nights. Ramadan, the Biennial and a stadium concert are famous when they are actually on. So are the Grand Bazaar, a ferry, and whatever is happening in a small room off İstiklal. This page will not pretend a sample card is any of those.

There is no live feed here. The notes describe real, recurring parts of the city: the bazaars, the ferries, Karaköy, Kadıköy and Sultanahmet as a place you visit with rules. The cards are a sample of listing format. They are not real events, FeelingFlexi is not selling tickets for them, and they are not Event structured data.

Music

Live music in Istanbul shows up in small rooms in Beyoğlu and Kadıköy, and in large one-off concerts that are announced properly when they happen. A sample card is not a bill. Check before you go.

Food & Drink

A Turkish breakfast can be the weekend plan, and the cafés that serve it change. The Spice Bazaar is for looking and buying, not for a quiet table. Fish restaurants along the Bosphorus are a real habit and an uneven one. Hours change, especially in Ramadan. Check before you go. A supper on a sample card is not a reservation.

Nightlife

The side streets of Beyoğlu are the simplest night: dinner, then a room within walking distance. Karaköy is earlier and closer to the water. Kadıköy is its own evening if you came by ferry and do not want to cross back. Know the last boat or the night bus before you need it.

Festivals

The dates outsiders ask about are seasonal or periodic. Ramadan, the bayrams and the Istanbul Biennial are real, and this page will not assign them to the example week. Commercial whirling-dervish shows in Sultanahmet are not the same thing as a ceremony. If you book one, check what it actually is. A sample card is not that booking.

Tours & Outdoors

The outdoor plans that are actually in Istanbul are the ferry, a Bosphorus shore walk, Gülhane Park, and the islands when you give them the day. The sample cards below are not a tour company. A Bosphorus cruise sold on the pier may be real and may be a waste. Read the operator, not a sample card.

How to use this week

Pick a shore. Friday can be Karaköy and Beyoğlu. Saturday is Sultanahmet and one bazaar, not the islands as well. Sunday is the ferry to Kadıköy or the islands, and only one of them.

The cards above are samples. If you want a real ticket, use the venue’s own schedule or the FeelingFlexi app, where a partner listing is sold by that partner. FeelingFlexi does not sell tickets on this page.

Questions

Are these Istanbul events real?

No. Each card is an example and says so. There is no ticket link. The writing around the cards names real places and real seasonal dates without putting those dates on a fake listing.

Where is the Istanbul Biennial listing?

Not here. The Biennial is periodic. Check the year. The same applies to Ramadan nights and the religious holidays, which follow their own calendars.

Where should I look for a real ticket?

FeelingFlexi does not sell tickets on this page. Use the museum, palace or venue’s own schedule, or the FeelingFlexi app, where a partner listing is sold by that partner.

What if I only have one night?

Cross the Galata Bridge while it is busy, then eat in Karaköy or on a side street in Beyoğlu. Leave the islands and a full Sultanahmet morning for daylight.
