Events in Dubai this week

Creek evenings, beaches, food, music and the desert. The cards below are an example week, not a live listing.

Dubai’s calendar is a mix of huge seasonal events and ordinary good nights. The World Cup race, Art Dubai, Global Village and the Shopping Festival are famous. So are a Friday at the Creek, a beach afternoon, and whatever is actually on at Dubai Opera. This page will not pretend a sample card is any of those.

There is no live feed here. The notes describe real, recurring parts of the city: the souks, Alserkal Avenue, the Marina walk, the fountain lake and the desert as a landscape. The cards are a sample of listing format. They are not real events, FeelingFlexi is not selling tickets for them, and they are not Event structured data. In Dubai the weekend is Friday and Saturday.

Example week, not a live listing. Example week, not a live listing. Every card below is a sample, marked Example. Names, venues and prices are illustrative. There is no ticket link, and none of these cards are Event structured data.

Music

Live music in Dubai shows up in hotel rooms, small venues, warehouse nights and large one-off concerts that are announced properly when they happen. Dubai Opera has a real programme. A sample card is not that programme. Check before you go.

Food & Drink

Friday brunch is a Dubai habit, and the restaurants that serve it change. The Spice Souk and the creekside cafés are the older food map. Hotel restaurants and Marina tables are the other one. Hours change, especially in hot months and in Ramadan. Check before you go. A supper on a sample card is not a table you can reserve.

Nightlife

Downtown, DIFC and the Marina are the usual nights. Beach clubs exist and are seasonal in spirit even when the doors stay open. Check dress codes, and check how you are getting home. A sample club card is not a guest list.

Festivals

The events outsiders know are seasonal. The Dubai World Cup, Art Dubai, Global Village and the Dubai Shopping Festival are real, and this page will not assign them to the example week. Ramadan nights are their own calendar. A sample market card is not a festival pass.

Tours & Outdoors

The outdoor plans that are actually in Dubai are the beach, the Marina walk, the Creek, Ras Al Khor, and a desert trip you have checked. Midday in the hot months is a bad time for all of them. The sample cards below are not a tour company.

How to use this week

Pick one side of the city. Friday can be the Creek and a proper lunch. Saturday can be the beach or the Marina, then one evening in Downtown if you still have the energy. The desert is its own half-day. Do not attach it to a mall and a fountain.

The cards above are samples. If you want a real ticket, use the venue’s own schedule or the FeelingFlexi app, where a partner listing is sold by that partner. FeelingFlexi does not sell tickets on this page.

Questions

Are these Dubai events real?

No. Each card is an example and says so. There is no ticket link. The writing around the cards names real markets, real venues and real seasonal events without putting those seasonal events on a fake date.

Where is the Dubai World Cup listing?

Not here. The World Cup is a race with its own date, usually in spring. Check the year. The same applies to Art Dubai, Global Village and the Dubai Shopping Festival.

Where should I look for a real ticket?

FeelingFlexi does not sell tickets on this page. Use Dubai Opera or the venue’s own schedule, or the FeelingFlexi app, where a partner listing is sold by that partner.

What if I only have one night?

Walk Al Fahidi and the Creek while it is busy, then eat nearby. Add Dubai Opera only if you have already seen a show you want. Leave the desert and the Palm for daylight.
