Events in Cape Town this week
Gigs, markets, food evenings, nights out and guided trips across the city, grouped by category. The cards below are an example week, not a live listing.
There is something on in Cape Town almost every night, but it rarely all happens in one place. A jazz set in Gardens, a supper club in Kalk Bay and a warehouse party in Salt River can all fall on the same Saturday, so this page sorts the city’s nights by the kind of evening you are after.
There is no live events feed on this page, so it does not pretend to be this week’s calendar. The category notes are the guide. The cards are a sample of how a week is organised: date, start time, venue, area and a price guide. They are not real events, FeelingFlexi is not selling tickets for them, and they are left out of the page’s structured data. For what is actually on, open the app and swipe.
Example week, not a live listing. Example week, not a live listing. Every card below is a sample, marked Example. Names, venues and prices are illustrative. There is no ticket link, and none of these cards are Event structured data.
Music
Cape Town’s music scene is spread across small rooms rather than one big strip. Expect jazz in the City Bowl and Gardens, singer-songwriters in Observatory and outdoor concerts on Southern Suburbs lawns when the weather allows.

Planning a Cape Town weekend
Spring evenings are mild but the wind can pick up quickly, so take a layer to anything outdoors, especially on the Atlantic Seaboard after sunset. If an outdoor plan depends on the weather, check the forecast on the day and have an indoor alternative in the City Bowl or at the Waterfront.
Group your plans by area. The City Bowl, Gardens and De Waterkant sit close together, as do Woodstock, Salt River and Observatory. The False Bay coast is a longer drive from the centre, which makes a Kalk Bay dinner or a Simon’s Town morning a good anchor for a slower day on that side of the mountain.
Popular small venues and supper clubs sell out first, often midweek. For markets and free-entry events, arriving early means shorter queues and a better choice of food. Late-night events generally ask for ID, so bring a physical copy. FeelingFlexi does not sell tickets; when the app links to a partner, payment and changes are handled there.

Questions
What’s on in Cape Town this weekend?
This page does not publish a live weekend list. It groups Cape Town nights into music, food and drink, nightlife, festivals, and tours and outdoors, and shows an example week so you can see the shape of a listing. For what is actually on this weekend, open the FeelingFlexi app, set Cape Town, and swipe. For plans that don’t need a ticket, see things to do in Cape Town.
Are there free events in Cape Town this week?
A live free-events list is not published on this page. The example cards include a couple marked free entry, and those cards are samples, not this week’s programme. Free days out that don’t need a date are in the things to do guide: the Sea Point Promenade, the Company’s Garden, Bo-Kaap and the False Bay coast. In the app you can look at what’s on today, this week or this month.
Where do ticket links go?
FeelingFlexi does not sell tickets. This page’s sample cards are examples only, so they do not link out. When the app shows an event from a ticket partner, that partner handles payment, refunds and changes.
How often is this page updated?
This page is a written guide to the kinds of events Cape Town has, not a feed that refreshes itself. The example week is labelled as an example and is not a schedule. For a live view of what’s on today, this week or this month, open the FeelingFlexi app and swipe through events for Cape Town.
